Brenton's First Day of Kindergarten!!

Here he is, our big kindergartener! Isn't he just the cutest thing! For some reason, most of the pictures I took this morning were blurry, these are too, but they were the best I had. He was so excited last night and kept asking if it was night yet so he could go to bed. He only went to school for an hour this morning and Jim and I were able to go along. The class made a star graph, did a craft and listened to a story. Then the aide took the kids outside for a snack so the parents could ask the teacher questions. I was happy to see some familiar faces. A family that used to go to our church has a little boy, Caleb, in Brenton's class. They hit it off right away. I also recognized another mom as someone I went to high school with. Her little boy, Tristin, is in Brenton's class as well. What a small world!! The school is very comfortable and has a family feel to it. I think we are really going to like it. I was asked to join a Moms in Touch group that meets on Fridays to pray for the school. How great is that!? Brenton goes again on Friday for a half day. I think on that day, it will seem more real. We might have some tears that day! Of course, they will be mine, not Brenton's! His schedule is all day Monday and Wednesday and Friday mornings. It is going to be so strange to have him gone from 8:30-3:30. I know I will miss him and I bet Tanner and Brynlee will as well. Although, the house will be much quieter!
