Apple Orchard Pictures...

We went to the apple orchard last Saturday. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the kids area. I had told them, we would not be playing in that area, as it cost too much money. Last time we were there, you had to pay to get in the area and then pay again for each attraction you wanted to do. Lucky for the kids, the orchard has a new policy that on weekends, you have to pay $7.00 per person and that includes the play area, the attractions and apple picking. I was a little shocked when I heard I would have to pay $28.oo just for me and the kids (Jim couldn't come, MSU/Notre Dame game). Papa and Yaya generously paid for everyone to get in. A BIG thanks to them!!! Anyhow, everyone had a great time and thankfully the rain waited until we were on our way home!

1st day of school!

Brenton and Tanner both started school today. Brenton has a half day and Tanner only went for 45 minutes with me. He will go for the full two hours on Thursday. They both were excited, but Brenton was a little weepy that Daddy wasn't here. He had to go to Wisconsin for business yesterday. Brenton talked to him this morning before he left for school and Daddy promised he would call when Brenton gets home this afternoon. It made him happier to know I would e-mail the pictures to Daddy so he could see them this morning. I am so anxious to go get him at 12:15!I can't wait to hear how his day was!
