We took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese last Friday night to celebrate Tanner's success at potty- training. Yay Tanner! I made the mistake of letting him potty outside, while we were a park since there was no restrooms. A few days later, Jim calls me, upset, from Home Depot. Apparently, Tanner had to go and since they were in the garden center, he thought that was okay! Oops!
The neighbor kids all playing...I think they were sailing on a boat in a storm.
I was upstairs putting laundry away and I hear Tanner telling me lost his sucker. I asked he were it was and he said the kitty had it. He wasn't kidding!

Dora the Explorer!

Last night we went to the Dora Live show. The kids really enjoyed it. Brinlee danced and clapped all the way through it. Brenton ended up liking the show too, he said when we got there that he was too old for Dora, and that he would just eat popcorn and drink pop. Daddy had to do some exploring of his own. The kids all wanted cotton candy and as he went to buy some they ran out. He went to all the concession stands and finally found on the other side of the arena! It was Dora's Pirate Adventure so Tanner wore his pirate hat. He looked so cute!
Brinlee and Lexi....this who Brinlee gets all her cute clothes from! I am so thankful for that!

Funny story about Tanner...on the way out of the arena we passed vending machines, in true Tanner style, he was studying all the different kinds of candy. He asked for Skittles, we said no, and he kept asking, all the way home. Yaya said to him at one point "Tanner, you have skittles on the brain." He thought for a second and said "No Yaya, my brain is in my head, not my tummy!"

Mother's Day!

I had a great Mother's Day. Jim got up early with the kids and took them downstairs. After a while, I started smelling something really yummy. I heard Brinlee at the bottom of the stairs "Mommy, eat, eat, Mommy! As soon as I started out of bed, Jim walked in the door with french toast and coffee for me. Thanks Jim! After church, we had a cook out here with Papa, Yaya, Aunt Becky, Uncle John, Jaron and Kelton. Jim and John took the kids for a bike ride, while the girls went to Family Christian Bookstore. Tanner ended up going with us. When he heard we were going to the store, he thought he might get some candy! Brenton's two front teeth are loose!

We really enjoyed the beautiful weather earlier this week. We went to the park with some neighbors and then had a picnic together.

We went to Papa and Yaya's last week. Sarah, the little redhead was visiting her grandparents, too! Sarah is the daughter of Susan, our old babysister!! They were having a ball in the motorhome.

We went to Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Roger's last Sunday. They let us play with all their toys! 

School Carnival and Soccer Pictures....

Brenton's school carnival was a couple weeks back. Brinlee had her face painted!!
The boys playing the "flip the frog" game. I think this was Brenton's favorite game. Of course, Tanner's favorite was the "junk food walk"!
Brenton started soccer. He really has a lot of fun. Last week he scored a goal! His best buddy, Clay, plays on his team too. That makes it extra special!
